INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER BURN: There is a 3-step process to achieving the PERFECT burn... every. time.
1. ALWAYS trim the candle wick to 1/4" before EVERY burn (even the first burn!)
2. Make sure to burn your candle for at LEAST 2 hours but no more than 4 hours. Candles have "melt memory" which means if you don't allow the candle to create a melt pool that goes all the way to the edges, you will create tunneling of wax which is wasteful and almost impossible to undo!
3. Keep the candle away from air conditioners, fans or even highly trafficked areas. If there is a lot of air flow around the candle (or if you don't trim the wick!), you will see soot appear around the glass.
